Psychosocial Safety Made Simple
Most business leaders know their workplace affects their people - but few understand the legal obligations, the hidden hazards or the real human cost of getting it wrong.
In this practical session, Nicole Turnbull and Dr Caroline Howe will help cut through the confusion around psychosocial safety. They will unpack what psychosocial safety actually means for businesses, how to focus on prevention and how to put it into practice in your own workplace.
Nicole will guide us through a refreshingly simple framework to break down and address psychosocial hazards in the workplace, without the overwhelm or jargon.
Caroline will simplify what the legislation and Code of Practice actually require of businesses and leaders, and what Regulators are looking for.
Attendees will leave with:
- A clear understanding of your legal obligations
- Practical ways HR and leaders can prevent psychosocial hazards
- An understanding of the link between psychosocial safety and employee wellbeing - and what genuine support for your people looks like in practice
- Actionable checklists and strategies you can implement immediately regardless of the size of your organisation.
If you’ve been trying to wrap your head around Code of Practice language or struggling to make psychosocial risks feel tangible for your teams, this session is for you.
